Change of Plans

Happy Friday! This week has been brutal. Well really the last 3 days. Roman and I have been battling a cold which means we have been getting very little sleep. It always amazes me how hard life is when you don’t feel rested. Keeping up with everything has been a struggle.

Today I had a busy day planned. I needed to run some errands, volunteer in the lunch room at my boys’s school then have lunch with a dear friend (this was my reward!). I was going to take the boys to the park then to ice cream after school.  It was going to be a fun filled day!

Then on the way home from dropping the boys off at school my sweet Roman, who had been clingy and whiny all morning vomited all over himself… and his car seat. Just like that my day went from being filled with errands and people to being filled with snuggles on the couch and Octonauts.

I’m so thankful that I have the luxury of being able to be home with my babies. I try to remind myself regularly that they will only be little for a short time.

Here is a picture of my sweet baby boy and his daddy from a couple weeks ago. Aren’t they just adorable? I am one incredibly blessed lady.

Roman is already pretty much back to normal. After some snuggles and some snacks he is back to throwing his toys and my pretty pillows all over my living room.

Houston has his fatigue day tomorrow (yay!). Our town is doing the annual Everything Elko Expo which I am pretty excited about. Then on Sunday our church, Living Stones Church Elko, is having their service in the park followed by a bbq. It is going to be so awesome! Another busy fun-filled weekend for us. I’ll be sure to post lots of pictures next week.

What do you have planned this weekend?
